HERO SWORD - Hattori Hanzo-Style Samurai Sword

This brand-new item is a hand-forged sword with a 1045 carbon steel blade. After undergoing the processes of quenching, tempering, and annealing heat treatment, the blade's hardness has reached an impressive 55 HRC (Rockwell Hardness Scale). One side of the blade features the distinctive Hattori Hanzo pattern.

The full-tang blade is hand-forged, without a blood groove, and has a Shinoji-zukuri blade shape with a Chu-Kissaki (medium-length tip) and a hamaon (a ridge running along the blade's length). The blade has been meticulously polished through a 10-step grinding process, resulting in a remarkably smooth and sharp surface. It is sharp enough to cleanly slice through a thick bamboo tree with a single strike, as well as cut through other materials such as trees, water bottles, and A4 paper.

The overall length of the sword is 103cm (40.55 inches), with a blade length of 70cm (27.55 inches) and a tsuka (handle) length of 26cm (10.24 inches). The blade width is 3.2cm (1.26 inches), and the blade thickness is 0.7cm (0.28 inches).

The tsuka (handle) is crafted from a combination of hard wood, ray skin, and silk ito (wrapping). The saya (scabbard) is made of hard wood with a lacquer finish. The tsuba (guard) is made of black iron, while the kashira (pommel), fuchi (collar), and menuki (ornamental fittings) are made of a zinc alloy. The habaki (blade collar) and seppa (spacer) are crafted from copper.
